Mad Anthony is named for Major General Anthony Wayne, who won the battle of Fallen Timbers (which occurred along the Maumee River, about 3 miles from the Happyland headquarters, in what is now Waterville, OH) during the Northwest Indian War in the mid 1790’s.
Major General Wayne was charismatic, courageous, and a bit of a loose cannon, hence his nickname Mad Anthony.
Several NW Ohio landmarks and schools are named for him, along with a stretch of US Route 24, known as The Anthony Wayne Trail.
We think that he would have liked this fragrance…it’s mad good!
Notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Dry Grass, Pink Pepper, Cardamom, Galbanum, Benzoin, Evernyl, Patchouli, Cedar, Orris Root, and Ambergris
