Is the famous popcorn beach worth visiting in Fuerteventura? 🍿🏖️
I walked there from Corralejo to find out! Here you can find popcorn shaped stones (called rhodoliths) which makes it cool I have to say. Is all that special though? I share my thoughts in the video!
Afterward I walked to the volcano Calderon Hondo 🌋
We are in the north of Fuerteventura 🇮🇨, in the municipality called “La Oliva”. There are other volcanoes in the area that form what is called “Bayuyo alignment”. They emerged more than 5000 years ago.
It’s easy to get to the top, from which you can enjoy a 360 degree view of this wild island. There are different paths to get here, I walked from Corralejo (going to the popcorn beach first) 🏝️
Highly recommended if you come to Fuerteventura!

PS Getting a bike would be a good idea!
