Homes are selling fast, and the market is heating up with strong sales activity intensity, tolerable interest rates, and a shortage of inventory. We are seeing a surge in sales activity intensity, with homes going under contract for new resale listings. Unsold inventory is virtually sold-out in the more affordable, mid-price, and upper-end price points. This surge in activity is bringing back the multiple offer scenario for some properties, making it an exciting time for both buyers and sellers.
Despite the monthly decrease in new listings, we are seeing a seasonal increase in the number of new monthly listings, which is good news for buyers. However, the market is still highly competitive, and buyers will need to have a solid strategy in place to secure their dream home.
