The U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) Monday rejected former president Trump’s claim of immunity on criminal charges for alleged efforts to undo his loss in the 2020 presidential election on Monday.
Howver, SCOTUS says former presidents have "absolute immunity" from prosecution for official actions taken in the oval office, but not for unofficial acts.
So what does this mean for Trump's charges and the future for presidents?
