In this video we look at how three varieties of cherry trees( the Starkrimson, the Lapins and Stella) hold up to a down poor of rain.
This year I picked just over 3 kg of fruit off the Starkrimson, about half the crop of last year. Reason spoilage due to strong wind and rain, a bird getting under the net and possibly due to a heavy pruning, but the it’s grown back to the same size as last year.
