Popular tune from the Billy Rose-produced musical revue “Sweet And Low.” Harry Warren and Mort Dixon collaborated on writing the song, with Rose possibly providing little or no lyrical input but receiving co-composer credit, as he sometimes did in exchange for his not-insignificant promotional influence.
