The witness observed the driver striking the curb and stumbling back to the car. Upon arrival, Officer Brian Parigi identified a vehicle matching the description and noticed it failing to signal while driving and braking erratically. After stopping the car, the driver, identified as 19-year-old Laura, denied consuming alcohol but failed field sobriety tests. A breathalyzer test showed a BAC of 0.23%, leading to her arrest. Laura’s vehicle was impounded under John’s Law, and she was cited for several traffic violations before being released to her mother.
