With a 12,000 RPM spindle, swarf auger, and through spindle coolant, the VM 30 i Plus offers multiple cutting options to reduce cycle times, allowing 50% more work at every pass. The control on the machine works with conversational data blocks to allow for options such as skimming the top off a particular block with any tool and conversationally programming certain surfaces from a model. The VM 30 i Plus saves unnecessary tool changes through tool optimization for organising tools based on the job. In addition to DXF, the machine offers 3D Model Import, a new feature for bringing STEP files straight into the machine.
