A drawknife is a single edged blade with two handles. Similar in shape and action to a chisel, the blade is shaped with a single bevel along its length opposite to a flat plane. Most of the antique drawknives I own have been sharpened with a variation of a double bevel. To fix this one I have to flatten the back.
