Come along on a ship visit on Azamara Pursuit, one of four ships in the Azamara Cruises fleet.
I was invited on a tour and lunch when the ship made a call in Stockholm, Sweden, and jumped on the occasion since it was a long time ago since I cruised with Azamara Cruises.
Since then, Royal Caribbean have sold the cruise line to Sycamore partners, but Azamara have kept their focus on destinations and claim to still be the cruise line with most overnight stays in ports. With Azamara you can cruise to different ports in Europe, the Mediterranean, South America, Caribbean, the Panama Canal, Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Azamara Pursuit, built 2001, formerly sailed as Adonia for P&O Cruises before she joined Azamara in 2018. All ships have a capacity of 686 passengers that can choose between staterooms (be aware that they have very small bathrooms) or suits.
If you are considering this cruise line I would say it suits those who are looking for a calm cruise with really good food and lot of time to spend ashore. Here you have a great chance to experience local cultures and the cruise line also claim to have many less travelled ports on their itineraries.
