So Starting the list off at number 5 we have The Chrome Stormtrooper. This polybag was released as a promotion in 2010 and was originally limited to 10,000, it is unknown if that number was increased though. This promotion was randomly given to people who made purchases of over £35 from the LEGO store. The estimated selling price for this minifigure on sites like eBay and Bricklink is around £80 which is $100.
Moving into number 4 we have the White Boba Fett. No this is not the Boba Fett from the LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopaedia, but it was a promotion available throughout 2010 and 2011. The way to get this varied depending on which country you were in, in the UK though, it was available with purchases of over £30 in Smyths Toys Shop. But anyway this usually sells for around £120 which is $150.
Now coming in at number 3 we have the Chrome Darth Vader. This minifigure was released in 2009 as a promotion for the 10th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars. Only 10,000 of these were made and were randomly put into LEGO set boxes. So if you got one, you’d open the LEGO set and the polybag at the Lego Club Day at LEGOLAND Deutschland in October 2008. This usually costs around £150 or $190.
Coming in at number 2 we have another Darth Vader polybag. This minifigure was released in 2005 for the International Toy Fair Nurnberg. The only exclusive thing in this polybag is the lightsaber, it actually lights up. The average selling price for this is around £250 which is $320.
Before we reveal the number 1 most expensive lego Star Wars minifgure polybag, we have a few honourable mentions. These aren’t some of the most expensive minifigures, but are quite popular and will be increasing in price in the near future and are just pretty cool looking minifigs.
So there’s the Shadow ARF Trooper, this was the may the 4th promotion in 2011. You can pick this up on eBay or Bricklink for around £50 or $62.
The 2014 and 2016 promotion, Darth Revan. He is one of the few minifigs on this list that we actually have. You can pick him up for around £35 or $45.
And the last one before we release the number one on this list is TC-14, he is another minifig that we have, he was the 2012 may the 4th promotion and now usually sells for around £25 or $32.
And now finally at number 1, we have the Gold Chrome Plated C3PO. It is quite rare to see one of these being sold as only 10,000 were ever made and pretty much all of them have found there way into the hands of collectors who aren’t going to sell them any time soon. This promotion took place throughout 2007 for Star Wars’ 30th Anniversary. These 14 karat gold minifigures usually sell for around £1000 or $1300.
