Recently Norfolk Southern has revealed the newest locomotive in their DC to AC conversion program. The locomotive is number #1800 and it is an EMD SD70ACC. With a new safety cab and other modifications by Progress Rail, this locomotive is a real looker. It will be heading into revenue service soon and will be a new sight to railfans all over the states.
