The dreaded incandescent light bulb ban is now in place, and the supply of incandescent light bulbs at the local stores is diminishing rapidly. Here's a sample of what's left at the The Home Depot and the Big Y SuperMarket.
The Feit Electric 40-watts appliance bulb, which I suspect will remain available for an extended period of time as it falls under a different category than 'general illumination', even though there's absolutely nothing stopping it from being used as 'general illumination', which is exactly how I will be using them.
The Sylvania 25-watts flame tip incandescent bulb, which I also think may remain available for some time as it's considered some type of 'specialty bulb'.
The appliance bulbs are outlandishly expensive, meanwhile the flame tip bulbs are quite economical. Both output a good quality of light and are completely satisfactory products.
