So last year I bought the Iphone 14 pro max, and I paid about $1,100 for it. It was a beautiful phone with an amazing batter life and took great pictures. But their was only one problem, the babttery life enebled me to use my phone way to much and the camera was cool but I don’t really care for pictures.
So in this video I’ll give you 3 reasons why I sould the 14 and why I bought a 13 mini and how I did the transaction
So must people don’t know this about me, but I have been in reselling since I was about 12 years old, it started out with games first, then sneakers and eventually phones. But I’m honestly a selfish reseller, I only resell when I see a good deal or when I want to buy something.

The transaction ( as a reseller )
This is a finance channel, so I care a lot about money and how to get the most of out of it
So I knew that I could buy a brand new mini for about $700 or get used one for about $500
But I went on eBay and got myself a nice Deal
It was listed for $500 and I offered $450 and the guy took the deal
Why exactly, well the phone was used and it had scratched on the screen which is a massive turn off for must
And ontop of that it aso had a few dents on the side, but the phone wwas fully functional and for those cosmetics issues, I could save literally save $280 on the phone and $45 on a case ( that’s $325 dollars )
To me it’s a big deal
What about the resell on the 14 Pro
Well I bought my iPhone 14 pro from a google employee, so he gave it to me without taxes, I paid $1,100
And I sold that phone yesterday with 96% battery health and over 6 months of use for $1,100 dollars.
Why? It’s a normal 256gb and it’s the max version and I got retail on a used one
The answer is because I live on an Island and phones are more expensive because of taxes.
Lets run the Math:
I got $1,100 and spent $465, left me $635 dollars
Now this phone was a gift, so I wanted to use the money for things I liked ( and what did I buy ?)
I bought a bunch of stuff on ebay, and I still have cash left over
Ps. He phone is solid, its not slow, it doesn’t lag and it does exactly what I need it to do
Screen Time
I can still watch content on this iphone and go on social media
But its little less attractive honestly
And i think about the batter life also
So it forces me to not be on my phone as much
How long does the battery last
This depend on the use you give it obviously, but for me, I have to charge around noon or so
But I do spend a lot of time on my phone and that’s the main reason
As I get better with phone use I’ll be charging less and less
Flexibility ( that phone is heavy )
I can put this phone In my pocket and forget it
I can hold it with one hand without playing tricks
And it takes great pictures and videos, even though I rarely do those things
Overall for me:
The decision came down to saving money.
And having a device that fit my needs.
And the iPhone 13 mini does just that
