The Rat Pack were a rag-tag group of handsome, suave, well-dressed men who happened to have a knack for singing and entertaining. The legendary group of stars have been a cultural powerhouse of sorts since the 1950s.

The original Rat Pack group was first formed at the Los Angeles home of Humphrey Bogart. But what started off as just a group of friends hanging out, drinking scotch, and shooting the breeze eventually evolved into something significantly more captivating.

Some of its most famous members were Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop. These men collaborated on and appeared in numerous hit films in the 1960s. They weren't the only Rat Packers, though, as Cary Grant and Mickey Rooney also earned membership into the elite club.

They say that behind every great man, is an even greater woman. While that somewhat dated expression might be contested by some more 'politically correct' minded people today, it's undeniable that members of the Rat Pack were intimately connected to some of the most prominent and influential women of their day.
