How to replace a Garmin 520 battery – The BEST DIY way details a safe and successful way of undertaking a strip down and rebuild. There are other ways here on the internet but quite often miss out details or have some potentially harmful methods. After watching enough I decided to have a go to see if it was possible for a fairly inexperienced person to undertake.
All the Tools you need are as follows:
Plastic Opening Tools
Small Phillips head screwdriver
Small flat headed screwdriver
Soldering iron & solder
Permanent marker
Scissors
