I have such a love for Harlem - the music, the people, the FOOD and it is a hidden gem in NYC. East Harlem is also known as Spanish Harlem because the neighborhood is one of the largest predominantly Hispanic communities in New York City, mostly made up of Puerto Ricans, as well as sizeable numbers of Dominican, Cuban and Mexican immigrants.
