In 2004, pianist, composer, and arranger Eric Gould produced a concert at the Tri-C JazzFest in tribute to the great Cleveland-born composer Tadd Dameron. The concert featured arrangements by Gould of number of Dameron's best-known works, as performed by an octet of stellar musicians along with the great saxophonist Jimmy Heath, who was an associate of Dameron's.
