This is a promo for a youth program I designed and direct for PDHC in Ohio. Many organizations have become stuck in a crisis-mode mentality where the majority of their youth development efforts center around negatives and persuading as many youth as possible to stop doing something. However, we at CSC feel that if a lack of leadership is the core issue, then leadership development must be at the core of any long-term solution. Our approach is to encourage and empower our peer leaders to start doing something to foster the optimum health outcomes that they all desire for their futures.
