In Turkey, hundreds of thousands of people held a final rally against last month's coup attempt.
It marks an end to three weeks of almost daily pro-government demonstrations. The protests brought together political leaders from both the government and opposition.
Speaking at the rally in the capital Ankara, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan once again called on the US to extradite Fethullah Gulen, who he blames for the coup attempt.
Al Jazeera’s Zeina Khodr reports from Ankara.
