Jim Corbett killed Man Eating Leopard near Gulabrai Dharamshala on date 2 May 1926 . Jim Corbett placed a Machan on a mango tree in between Gulabrai Dharamshala and residence of pundit , after sitting 10 nights Corbett didn't get success in killing man Eater but on 11th night Jim Corbett got a chance when man Eater came in search of men staying in Gulabrai Dharamshala . Jim Corbett shot leopard at shoulder . later man Eater leopard found dead 50 yards away from mango tree.
