Special thanks to the Valentine Theater in American Fork and the AMAZING violinist Caroline Campbell for collaborating with us on this video. Caroline is not only a world-class soloist but an inspiring educator. The way she invites youth to pursue excellence through her teaching and example has made her one of our favorite collaborators!

Story Behind The Music: Somewhere is a plea from the young that the world will step aside and make room for them as they are. It's a hope that even amid violence, poverty, bigotry, and racism we can at least imagine a place where there is "time together, with time to spare." This particular version was recorded amidst COVID-19 protocols while concert halls, schools, and theaters across the globe were shut down. Leonard Bernstein's famous quote was adjusted to become the Lyceum Philharmonic's mantra, “This will be our reply to [the pandemic]: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before.”

About Lyceum Youth Orchestras at American Heritage School: The Lyceum Youth Orchestras Program at American Heritage School serves more than 300 students in eight ensembles ranging from basic music reader to advanced. Located in American Fork Utah, American Heritage School is a faith-based private school with a focus on character education.
