In this live Zoom presentation, BMAC Chief Curator Mara Williams leads a virtual tour of "All Flowers Keep the Light" and a discussion with many of the artists featured in the exhibit. Initially conceived before the Covid-19 pandemic as an exploration of art that harnesses the beauty and symbolic potential of flowers to mark personal loss, the exhibit was expanded to include work commemorating communal and societal ruptures as well. Exhibiting artists include Miles Chapin, Clare Elliott, Anna Schuleit Haber, Amy Jenkins, Colleen Kiely, Cathy Osman, and John Willis, in collaboration with Robin Behn and Matan Rubinstein.
"All Flowers Keep the Light" is on view at Brattleboro Museum & Art Center, March 18-June 13, 2021.
