Gavin Free first became well-known for starting the popular YouTube channel "The Slow Mo Guys" with his friend Dan. His work on that channel helped him move to the U.S. where he now works for Rooster Teeth.

During an episode of the Rooster Teeth Podcast (Ep. 285), Gavin put out a hypothetical scenario in which you have the option of taking $10 million, but an immortal snail assassin is forever hunting you down, and if it touches you, you die. This scenario continues to pop up on the internet every few years, but in 2021, it became huge on TikTok and Reddit after spawning many, many memes.

Gavin sat down with us to discuss how he came up with the snail scenario, possible solutions to it, and whether or not he would take the money himself. He also talks about how he got involved with the "The Slow Mo Guys" YouTube channel and why he thinks it became so popular.
