*Basic rules*
- Items can only be obtained from monsters killed on a Slayer task;
- Slayer loot can be processed further to obtain new items.

*Limitations*
- No trading with shops except the Slayer store, services and reward shops;
- Item spawns cannot be picked up (not even with telegrab);
- Skilling tools cannot be used to collect infinite logs, ores or fish.

*Exceptions*
- Unobtainable items can be acquired to unlock Slayer creatures;
- Items obtained during a Quest can always be obtained;
- Quest & Diary rewards can be used if combined with Slayer drops;
- Monsters created with Slayer drops may be killed and looted off-task;
- A saw can be picked up to unlock the POH;
- Potions from the Dr. Jekyll random event (by giving him a herb);
- Skill lamps can be obtained but must be used on Slayer.
