Note that this application is only valid for three specialties (internal medicine, dermatology, and general surgery) This application is short and free and features new questions to help applicants share more information about themselves with programs. Not all residency programs are participating in the application.
Who is the supplement for? Only applicants (MD, DO, and international graduates) applying to participating residency programs in internal medicine, dermatology, and general surgery are eligible to complete the supplemental ERAS application. It is optional for applicants to these residency programs to complete the supplemental ERAS application.
OTHER FAQ Re: Supplement:
How Can I Know What Programs are Participating in the Supplement?:
The lists of participating programs are now available. Applicants to these residency programs are encouraged to complete the supplemental ERAS application, but it is optional. Search the program participation lists by specialty and accreditation ID.
Below is a list of the residency programs in dermatology, general surgery, and internal medicine participating in the supplemental ERAS application for the 2022 season.

Is the supplemental ERAS application for both preliminary and categorical residency programs?
For internal medicine, the supplemental application will be available to both preliminary and categorical residency programs.
For general surgery, it will only be available to categorical programs.
Do I have to submit the supplemental ERAS application and MyERAS application at the same time?
No. The supplemental ERAS application and the MyERAS application have different submission deadlines.
