Broccoli is a special vegetable with a unique taste. It is one of the most sought-after vegetable in the recent times due to its various health benefits. So here is a nice and quick, delicious meal recipe you can make with fresh broccoli. This fried rice is a bit on the spicier end as I like it personally. But you can reduce the quantities of pepper powder and chilli sauce to cut down the spice levels a bit. This is a great lunchbox recipe. You can enjoy this for lunch or dinner. The best side dish you can enjoy this with is any gravy with stir fried vegetables or any dry/wet manchurian recipes. Watch the video till the end for step-by-step method of the recipe. To Make Broccoli Fried Rice
Basmati Rice - 2 Cup (200 Ml )
Broccoli -150 gram
white Sesame seeds - 1 Tbsp
Olive oil 3 tbs
Ginger Garlic - 2 Tsp
Onion - 2 No.
Mushroom -6 no.
Carrot - 2 No.
Paneer - 100gram
Salt - 2 Tsp(to taste)
Pepper powder - 1 Tsp
Soy Sauce - 2 Tsp
Chilli Sauce - 1 Tbsp
Tomato sause - 1Tbs
Honey - 1 tbs (optional)(optional)
Spring Onion Greens
Spring Onion Whites
Method:
1. Cook the long grain basmati rice and cool it before using it in the fried rice.
2. Wash, clean and cut the broccoli into small pieces. Keep them aside.
3. Heat 1 tbs olive oil in a pan, Add paneer, carrot, mushroom saute well and keep them aside.
4. Heat olive oil in a wide wok. Add white sesame seeds, ginger garlic and onions. Saute fot about 1 min. add spring onion white part and mix well.
5. Add the broccoli florets and mushroom saute for 1 min. Add salt and pepper. Mix well.
then add paneer, carrot, mushroom
6. Then add soya sauce and chilli sauce. Mix them well added tomato sause and honey
7. Once the vegetables are no more raw, add in the cooked rice along with spring onion greens and corienter leaves.
8. Gently toss it all together, check for seasoning, add salt and pepper if required.
9. Spicy and tasty Broccoli Fried Rice is ready to be served hot and nice.
