It's really tasty and I clearly haven't died! :) I would say the flavor reminded me very much of horseradish. We got a 50/50 vote from the kids.
The last weed I investigated in the backyard ended up being an invasive species of lantana. I mistook it for part of the nettle family. Fortunately I didn't try to eat it - lantana is poisonous. Definite proof you need to be vigilant and consult as many resources as you can while you learn to identify wild edibles. Eat at your own risk! :)
