Polihale State Park Beach in Kauai. We were at the far end near Na Pali coast. It's accessible by a dirt road that is about 2 miles long. We drove a minivan and had to go about 5 miles an hour in order not to bottom out. Trucks and SUVs were able to travel much faster, but we did see a car on the side of the road that was stuck because a ditch runs alongside most of the road.
The beach is secluded with gentle waves that break very close to shore. The sand is fine. There is a small parking near this part of the beach. There are no restrooms or lifeguards at that part of the beach. There are shelters for pitching a tent. Bonfires are allowed on this portion of the beach.
