Sometimes the most beautiful places are those closest to home. As you know, my trip reports take me all over the world, but a summer's morning looking across Carlingford Lough cannot be beaten.
This is a short ode to that summer. A longer trip report will be posted here on YouTube shortly.
The song is a traditional air called The Flower of Maherally - you may know the version by Anuna or the one by Altan. This is me singing unaccompanied. I chose this song as it's about County Down (despite the fact that Maherally is a wee stretch away from Warrenpoint!).
Keep an eye out for the longer form of this video in the next week or two. In the meantime, enjoy this one.
