If the Rolex Submariner is not the best watch on the planet, it has to be close! Here's why...

Here are a few reasons why the Submariner is definitely one of the best luxury watches in the world:

1) Recognition – The Rolex Sub's design has withstood the test of time. Even if you go back to the Submariner that Sean Connery wore in the 1962 Bond flick “Dr. No,” the watch to this day still looks like a classic!

2) Versatility – Versatility is a Sub's middle name! Even though the Rolex Submariner is technically a diving watch, it can as easily be worn with a suit (in a formal occasion) than with a pair of shorts at the gym. The Sub is also extremely durable. It can take a beating and then some!

3) Variety – The Submariner comes in many variations.
