Lucio Fulci is listed as the director of Zombi 3, but Bruno Mattei came in to add to the film for...reasons (there's a lot of dispute about why Fulci didn't "finish" the film), and because of that Zombie 3 is a so bad it's amazing slice of Italian horror cinema.
Nonsensical scenes, random characters, and the Bruno Mattei staple of "homages" to other films are just a few of the things you'll find in this one. Zombie 3 has all the craziness you'd expect from a movie that reunites the unholy trinity of Bruno Mattei, Claudio Fragasso, and Rosella Drudi -- with the Fulci-esque splatter we've come to expect from the Godfather of Gore.
Half the fun here is figuring out what parts actually belong to Fulci.
Can Zombie 3 add another 5 Barf Bag award to the Maestro's shelf? Watch and find out!
