Running a Volkswagen engine on a test stand prior to installing it in the Bus. I'm using an adapter from zalex ([ Ссылка ] ) which allows me to mount the starter motor to the engine without using a transmission bell housing. I'm also using their ignition control box start engage the starter and monitor oil pressure.
It would have been more straightforward to use the chassis side wiring harness connector to connect to the control box to the double relay - but this way works too.
