Another Boston cover, this time from their 3rd album. Usually these two songs are paired together and so that's how I chose to cover the whole composition. In my mind, I can imagine this is the theme song of a glorious rocket like the Saturn V launching to space. Hopefully Elon Musk considers using it as the soundtrack the first flight of the orbital Starship. I learned this entire thing by ear, so I'm sure there are inaccuracies. And.. OMG.. can that reversed pick slide be any longer???? I'm not sure what Tom Scholz used for that "rocket launch" sound right before Cool the Engines kicks in, but this is closest I've been able to get to emulating the same effect. First 40 seconds or so into the song is when the guitars come in, so up until then I'll just chilling. This is a second edition cover I recently recorded that fattens up the tone during this performance.
