In celebration of the new Stardew 1.6 update, we began something we've been meaning to do for a long time - Stardew Acoustic Sessions, for each season, starting with spring! :D

We are huge fans of this game & ConcernedApe. Stardew Valley quickly became my favorite game and OST of all time (along with DKC 2 hehe). Josiah has been following the journey of this game since it was in development. Some of our past Stardew arrangements got the attention of ConcernedApe, which was so awesome!

This game is very special to me partly because I started playing it right after a cross country move, from my hometown that I lived in for my entire life before. I started all over in a brand new place! When I started playing Stardew, it was so aligned with how I was feeling! Since then, this game has provided me so much comfort, positivity, happiness, and inspiration. I play this game on flights and it calms my anxiety of airplanes, I listen to the OST constantly in my car/at home, everywhere. It's by far my #1 most listened to music on Spotify. The melodies/compositions of this soundtrack are just 100% perfection!

The lyrics were inspired by the game, as well as my feelings about the cross-country move/starting anew. It can also apply to the game's story/grandpa! The lyrics refer to each season of the year.

As time went on, the lyrics meaning extended to something sad that happened. Last October, I said goodbye to my beloved dog Booey who has been in many of my youtube videos for the past decade. He was a rescue pup and was between 14-17 years old and was my best friend forever who moved with me as well! The day after I said goodbye to him, I went outside and looked at the mountains, and thought about how he's still here with me in spirit, nature, and memories. I still think that all the time. I haven't really posted or talked about it on social media much, but he's on my mind every day. This is dedicated to Booey.
