When it comes to picking the perfect wine to bring to Thanksgiving, we recommend going with Pinot Noir. This lighter bodied red wine is (in our opinion) the best all around choice to accompany the roast turkey, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and all of your other favorite side dishes. It's not so heavy that it will overwhelm the turkey, has enough acidity to balance all of the different dishes, and the cherry, cranberry, and baking spice flavors you can find in the wine go perfectly with your meal.
In this video, we recommended 9 different wines that are easy to find, good values for their price, and super delicious. Here are our picks:
PINOT NOIR FROM FRANCE
-----
Le Charmel Pinot Noir
Domaine Chanson Le Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Maison Louis Latour Bourgogne Pinot Noir
PINOT NOIR FROM OREGON
-----
Kin & Cascadia Pinot Noir
Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir
King Estate Pinot Noir
PINOT NOIR FROM CALIFORNIA
-----
Hess Select Pinot Noir
Flowers Vineyards & Winery Pinot Noir
Truchard Vineyards Pinot Noir
Of course, the ultimate cheat code for any wine pairing is just to pick a bottle of bubbles, so if none of these wines tickles your fancy, go ahead and bring your favorite bottle of sparkling wine. Ultimately, the most important thing is to drink what you like to drink with what you like to eat.
