Guy Gerber's Rumors label is really starting to pick up pace now. After a first EP from the boss in collaboration with Dixon, and a second from Chaim, the third release comes from Lake People, who has already remixed for the label.

Lake People, aka German producer Martin Enke has also previously remixed the likes of Chymera and Kollektiv Turmstrasse and has released on labels like Permanent Vacation and Connaisseur before now. This new EP features two more superlative house cuts that will likely define the oncoming summer.

Up first is 'Night Drive', a typically spine tingling bit of celestial and spiritual house music with gently pattering harmonic notes, long tailed pads and a great nocturnal spirit. It's a patient, elongated affair that will make for some magical moments of contemplation on the dancefloor.

'No Turning Back' on the flip side is more immediate and direct -- the kick drums are firmer and faster and organic piano notes, lush found sounds and glassy little details all pepper the groove. It's deep, meditative music that works on heads as much as heels.

Once again here Rumors and Lake People offer up a unique, sensitive and delicate house music vibe that is exclusively their own.
