Sinigang is a popular soup/stew in the Philippines that is based on sour, local fruits (tamarind, guava, etc.) that give it its unique taste. This is a very versatile dish - one can use meat or fish, combined with local, fresh vegetables. Here in Germany, I can't get the fresh fruits needed. Luckily there's a mixture one can get in any Asian store that does the job. In this video, I'm combining pork and chicken too. The combination makes for an awesome, delicious sinigang! Later in the evening, I was joined by my Russian friend. This might not have been his favorite Filipino dish, but... do I care that much? 😜 Enjoy and Mabuhay! Benjar


INGREDIENTS
► 1 kilo pork
► 500 g chicken wings
► 500 g radish
► 1-kilo Chinese cabbage
► 3 medium-sized tomatoes
► 2 liters of water
►40 g SINIGANG mix
► about 6 Tbsp. of fish sauce
► Black pepper to taste
