Mother cuts hair for the first time for Locks of Love, Daughter cuts hair for the second time for Locks fo Love.
Jenny at Modern Beauty in Elk Grove did a fabulous job on the hair cuts.
Music credit to David M. Bailey. I met David Bailey on a forum in the early days of the internet. It was a brain cancer support group forum that helped me navigate life, treatments and doctor appointments with my youngest sister who had GBM, or glioblastoma multiforme. David's music was inspirational, healing and soothing during difficult times. He was a great contributor to our group. At the National Brain Tumor Foundation San Francisco conference he shared his music, and then he traveled to my town to provide a concert to our community in memory of my sister. He remains an inspiration for all families dealing with GBM.
Not only did my little sister benefit from natural hair wigs like what Locks of Love strives to provide, my other sister who is now living with metastatic breast cancer uses wigs to gain a sense of normalcy while out in public.
