Why is Khabib's Dagestani Wrestling so Dominant in MMA? We talk with Ed Ruth who is a highly decorate American Wrestler from Penn State. 2X NATIONAL CHAMPION, 3X ALL-American. His credentials are at some of the highest levels as far as American Wrestling goes just short of being an Olympian. Ed Ruth used to train at AKA with many of the Eagles MMA fighters. This would include Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov and several others. This was Ed's take away, on what makes the Dagestan Warriors different when it comes to grappling and ground fighting. Many top level UFC fighters eventually discovered that their Division 1 experience or their BJJ Blackbelt might not have been enough of the proper training or condition when facing someone like Islam Makhachev or former world Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
