The GTX 1070 is still a great card for 1080p gaming despite being 6 years old, being released all the way back in 2016. I decided it would be a good idea to run through some games and evaluate the performance of this outdated mid-tier card.
Additionally, I wanted to see which method — Undervolting or using the stock settings, would be more effective while daily driving. For the majority of the time I've owned this card, I've kept it undervolted; the benefits for me were clear in the lower temperatures and power usage with only a minimal performance loss.
Games Tested at 1080p:
- Spiderman Remastered - (High Settings)
- Dying Light 2 - (High/Medium Settings)
- Far Cry 5 - (Ultra Settings)
- GTA V - (Very High)
- Apex - (Very High/High Settings)

- Motherboard - Gigabyte B550 Gaming X V2
