Air Fryer Gingerbread Cookies Recipes
Servings: Small batch recipe- 8 small cookies or 4-5 regular cookies
Big batch recipe- 20-30 cookies
Total Time: About 10 minutes
Prep Time: About 5 minutes
Cook Time: About 5 minutes
SMALL BATCH
NOTE: Because the recipe has been scaled down and it's such small quantities, it’s best to use grams and a scale (rather than volume measurements) to ensure a good and precise result.
- 2 tbsp Butter (27g)
- 1 ½ tbsp Sugar (25g)
- 1/4 cup + 1 ½ tbsp Flour (60g)
- 1 oz Honey (30g)
- 1/2 tsp Cocoa
- 1/2 tsp Ginger
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- Pinch of Salt
BIG BATCH (Original Recipe)
PLEASE NOTE: The original recipe contains an egg yolk. To scale it down
for a small batch of cookies, the egg yolk has been removed.
- 1 stick Butter (110g)
- 3.5 oz Honey (100g)
- 1/2 cup Sugar (100g)
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 1 ¾ cup Flour (250g)
- 1 tsp Cocoa Powder
- 1 ½ tsp Ginger
- 1 ½ tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla
DIRECTIONS:
-Into a food processor add all the ingredients and process until a dough
forms.
-As soon as the dough comes together, transfer the dough onto your work
board and finish bringing the dough together with your hands.
-Flour your work surface, roll out the dough and cut out your cookies.
-Place the cookies into the LIGHTLY greased and floured basket and cook
the small cookies for about 4-6 minutes.
-Cooking time will vary depending how big your cookies are so don't be
afraid to adjust the timing and cook the cookies longer if your cookies
are bigger.
-Allow the cookies to cool completely and frost however you please.
