The Last of Us Part II is an action-adventure game developed by Naugthy Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 4 . Set five years after the events of The Last Of Us , the player takes control of two characters: Ellie, who seeks revenge after suffering a great tragedy, and Abby Anderson, a soldier who becomes involved in a conflict with a mysterious cult and its militia in the post-apocalyptic United States . The game is played from a third-person perspective. Players can use firearms, improvised weapons, and stealth to defend themselves against hostile humans and cannibal creatures infected with a mutated strain of Cordyceps virus.
