Many canines, according to animal rights activists, might starve to death or be put down if a new Canadian regulation makes entrance impossible.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has declared that, beginning on September 28 (World Rabies Day), it would no longer allow commercial canines to enter the nation. Any dog kept for the purpose of sales, adoption, fostering, breeding, showing, exhibiting, or research is considered to be a commercial dog.
The government provided a list of over 100 nations with a "high risk" of canine rabies. Jenni Baynham, who lives in Vancouver, and her sister, who is a pilot and lives in Qatar, established the Fur Bae Dog Rescue organization four years ago. They aid domestic dog rescue efforts and have even brought canines from the Middle East to Canada.
