Simple Sponge Cake Recipe:
2 x 6 inch round tins
250g unsalted butter
250g caster sugar
200g (4) eggs
250g self raising flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
For an 8 inch cake, double the recipe!
For a chocolate cake, replace 25g of flour with cocoa powder!
