Oh how things have changed in the last 30 years! Back then I was a keen photographer, and loved nothing better than a good day out with my mates taking photos of abandoned and unloved places.
One day, we went to the run-down warehouse and tidal harbour on the bank of RIver Ely, through acres of derelict land and across a rickety old bridge. This place was spectacular, all gnarled wood and rotten metal. It was in a sorry state, but still a working area with businesses operating in the old warehouses around there. It was a photographer's dream, and we took a ton of photos, at least till our film ran out (a major pre-digital issue for a skint youngster...)
It's now all gone, and I made this video to show where my photos were taken for anyone interested.
You can read more about the place here: [ Ссылка ]
I'll do another one of these from a later trip to the area in the future.
