I did a similar video right before The Witch Queen, but now that there's the 2 new dungeons out from this year, I figured it was time to revisit this. The only downgrade was for the Grasp of Avarice bosses, with the nerf to hammers from last year, they now can only be done in 2 phases. I also tried to include class and build variety here as much as I could, to keep it a little more entertaining to watch. Otherwise you could just use the same few builds for pretty much every encounter and get away with it.
In terms of difficulty, the Spire bosses are the only ones that really stand out from the rest. The other bosses overall have been made really easy with the current seasonal mods, but those two are the only that require close to optimal damage phases. Even then, once you learn how to approach them, they're not so bad.
While unlikely, I do hope that the dungeons in Lightfall bring something new to the table. Up to now, they've all boiled down to doing busywork for unlimited time to start a damage phase, do the damage phase, and repeat as many times as necessary. It's just starting to become a little stale, and causing fatigue from dungeons for me. Personally, I'd love to see a fight where you could damage the boss for the entire fight, but you had to handle the mechanics at the same time. Rather than the same formula we currently have for nearly every boss fight in the game.
Lastly, videos will likely be slower for the rest of this week, and I won't have the usual Xur up on Friday sorry. I'll cover the usual Tuesday reset quest and story, and likely a Nightfall. But outside of that I'll be taking a break until GMs come out next week, and then back into the swing of things again.
