Noise samples, Arctic P12 PWM PST, P14 PWM PST, for 2 revisions.
0:42 Arctic P14 PWM PST Rev.2
1:44 Arctic P14 PWM PST Rev.4
2:52 Arctic P12 PWM PST Rev.2 (White Transparent)
3:55 Arctic P12 PWM PST Rev.3 (One sample from a value pack)
The fans operated PWM 0% to 100% and 100% to 0%, gradually changing the rotational speed.
Mar. 2, 2024 Update: I admit that some individuals of Rev.3 and Rev.4 can make resonant noise. And this video was hasty generalization. There is randomness about the existence of resonance. Sorry for wrong information.
Arctic usually revises their products with no mention.
This sentences by me are no longer reliable: (Most of the revisions are not considerable, but the change of P12 and P14, which are the main products of Arctic, made a big enhancement - the elimination of a resonant noise. From Rev.3, there is no longer a humming noise that users can clearly feel unpleasant.)
Please note that there is the short explanation at the beginning for 30 seconds.
