I forgot to mention that pulling on the bolt so the wing nut grips the wall while backing it out is important. Others mentioned using a wire, paper clip, hanger, or even a magnet as alternatives to the allen/hex wrench like I used. When comparing how far out the bolt is to another, note it doesn't have to get really close to all the way out to be able to rotate for removal. Good luck and hope this helps y'all save some toggle bolts!
Credit to Dana's video for the inspiration showing me it's possible: [ Ссылка ]
Dana used a wire but didn't show the rotation limitation and how to know how far to back out the bolt which I think led to confusion/frustration for some commenters. So I thought I could make a quick video to help demonstrate.
I hope this explains it clearly and succinctly and helps all you other DIYers and weekend warriors out there also sharing tips on YouTube. Appreciate all the help I've found here over the years. Thanks!
