Sony has made the PS3 HDCP protected. This means you cannot use HDMI legally to capture footage from the PS3 for copyright issues. Therefore making PS3 gamers miss out on 1080p HDMI recording. However, NEVER FEAR :D We currently have a 1080p BETA download for component which you can check out below.
